I bought this light to brighten up an area where I do a lot of detailed craft work and I'm very impressed. It throws out a very decent amount of light and genuinely is like daylight. The adjustable neck to angle the light towards a specific seat is useful and the base is a good solid weight. There's no chance of the lamp toppling over if you have children or animals about as I do. Keeping the internal wiring out of the way during connection of the stand sections was a little awkward but the assembly process was straightforward and self explanatory apart from that. The only tool I needed was a small screwdriver. After using it daily for the last few weeks, the only small thing I might improve would be to give the lamp a little extra height. The item came in several pieces which required me to self-assemble. This wasn't a simple process and involved far more than the minimal instructions suggested, with me having to take apart the base so the electric cable could be wound in correctly. Had I not had the right tools and some knowledge of working with electrical appliances, I would have just had to send it back. Once fitted together, it's actually a pretty good lamp. But the description should be more honest and the instructions need to be much more thorough.

Excellent work light for hobbies or reading with it's flexible neck and positionable head. Bright daylight bulb gives great light coverage with the bonus of being a SAD light also. The sturdy yet small base takes up very little floor room but gives the security of knowing the lamp is very stable. The assembly of the four pieces was quite simple with the use of a Phillips cross-head screwdriver. This was purchased for my elderly mum who was finding it difficult to see to read and she is extremely pleased with it. An excellent quality product and very good value too.

Great product - read and assemble in the order on the instructions - it is simple but it makes it so much more easy if you assemble in the prescribed order. Love it, no more struggling to read, all the light I'll need and like they say "it's like daylight". Great height with plenty of adjustment via the 'neck'.
