When the Turbo Head failed on my Dyson DC53 I was astounded at the prices that were being asked for a replacement. After much shopping round I made this purchase. It was dispatched very quickly and was a realistic price with free shipping. I was not disappointed with the product original new and well packaged. It is in daily use and the difference in my carpets is noticeable. I will however watch for a failure in a certain component within the head as replacements are impossible to source even from the Dyson home site. This necessitates the replacement of the whole head unit as a consequence.It is brilliant while working but the failure of this one drive pulley within the head turbo is a weakness which parts are not available for.This is my third turbo Head now in 7 years however I just hope this one lasts as long as the others.Read full review

It's a Dyson so it will work but it is a shame that the previous one stopped working !! This supplier was the cheapest but it was still expensive for what it is and of course the vacuum cleaner is useless without it. This new one does not seem to work quite the same as the original but it does the job and I will have forgotten the price in due course !!

Works really well no problems at all, it's a bit expensive but 100x better than the one originally supplied with the vacuum cleaner So at the end of the day if you don't want to vacuum the house on your knees using the stairs adaptor is the way to go
