I’ve tried just about every product out there to keep my mat in place on a laminate floor and only these have actually worked! They really do keep your mats in place once they’ve been fitted properly. You just put the triangular stickers in each corner of the mat, then slightly dampen the rubber triangles and place them, one at a time, on top of the stickers on the underside of the mat. Then, position the mat and ramp down on each corner. Hey presto, an immovable mat!

I bought these to stop a rug (4' x 6') slipping and moving around on a vinyl floor. They stick to the floor, but do not stick to the rug enough to keep it in place. I have also invested in a can of spray carpet glue to try and stick them to the underside of the rug, but this hasn't worked either. Obviously it may depend on the type of flooring you have and the construction of the rug, but for me they have been a waste of money and I would not recommend them to anyone unless you're prepared to spend the money even though they may not work.

We bought an area rug after removing our carpet and having wood flooring put in. These grips are a great idea, but didn't help to keep the rug in place whatsoever. Dust and dirt basically sticks to them. Perhaps they would be good for low traffic areas, but with this rug being in our living-room these grips just didn't do the trick unfortunately.

Sticks well to the wooden floor but not the rug. Better than nothing on the floor but not wonderful as the rug doesn't slip around but can move easily and that's using the extra sticky gripper. Maybe works better for others.

Cleaned my floor and hoovered the back of my carpet befor attaching these. Was really impressed for the first 48 hours the carpet stayed put and didn't slide. Then they started to move about and came unstuck so I rewashed the floor and left it dry washed the grippers in soapy water and air dried reattached and again great for 48 hours then slipping again .
