I was looking to move away from SKY, so purchased this item. Humax is widely known to be quality brand in satellite equipment so I went for it with the understanding it has some age on it. I pulled my SKY box out and replaced it with this item to test and see if I will completely replace SKY. I thought while using the Foxsat box it was slow in changing channels compared to the SKY box. However the picture was just as good as SKY. Was spoiled with the service provided through SKY, it took time to get used to channel lineup. Also had problems getting use to where the catch up channels were as they had actual channel number instead of just going to an area and pick the one you wanted to watch. I must admit that when this box first came out it was impressive! But now it's good for the back bedroom. Or for the kids room? The new version will be well worth it.Read full review

I can only fault two things with this machine... the status light being on the underside and is hard to see. And when there are films it doesn't give you the year it was released. The rest of it..well i love it so much ! This machine is fantastic. I would recommend it to ANYONE.
