This product is remarkably easy to install, and the instruction booklet is remarkably clear and well-produced - definitely not badly-translated from Korean on a couple of sheets of paper! The problem for many people will be in finding a length of water-pipe that it is possible to wind the wire around. My inflow (mains) pipe is large-diameter iron. I could find only one length of copper pipe free enough from obstructions and other pipes : just a few centimetres before entering my DAFI instant water-heater. I am in an area of very, very hard water. My cold-water pipes have good pressure and flow, but flow from my hot-water taps is very poor. It may take months for this to improve, as the booklet says, so I cannot say how effective the descaler is.

It is too early to review or recommend at the moment, looks good quality and is easy to fit so time will tell if the product matches up to description. now been active over six months, I find no difference in the water lime scale build up, no difference in the elactic kettle lime scale build up.so I do not think this appliance does as is advertised. The advertiser did say it dosn't soften the water but does stop limescale build up, but I have found no differece at all. I did fit the longer wires as my pipe is 32 mm polypropalene fitted as directed by the instructions. So I cannot recommend this product

Installed the unit on the 24th of July and we have noticed a change in that hard water deposits have reduced and the stubborn stains are no more there. I had a couple of question in relation to number of turns to make on the copper pipe and the guys @Eddy came back to me fairly quickly via a telephone call and explained some basics to me as well as requested I sent a photo of the installation so they can check if I had got it right. I've not sent the photos as of yet but will do shortly. The box could be a bit built more robust (rather than basic box to house electronics), with hooks for screws as am sure the stick pads that come with the unit will not stick to say breeze block. I hung the unit using additional tie wraps. but overall the results look very promising and a great alternative to salt based descalers/water softners.Read full review

I live in North East London and the water is very hard here, as i need to descale my kettle at least twice per month, also my taps are full of limescales, so before get a water softner i decided to try Eddy. I have it for the last 3 weeks now and the kettle seems less scalings than it used to be, something it does work, perhaps does not elimite the scales for good but at least it is easier to clean the kettle and the taps. Another good thing is that you can still grink the water instead with a softner machine installed you cant as it is salty the water. Ill keep Eddy working for a bit longer and if it is get better, if not ill ill get as well a water softner. But honestly im happy for the product and the value for money, also its very easy to instal it no plugmer need it.

We just three weeks into the purchase. I didn’t believe it will work. Purchased because the 12 month warranty and return. But to my surprise... it works. We live in Lincolnshire and the water is very hard. When we cleaned the shower glass in three days it was full with scales Since this it last a week or a bit more Also on the kitchen sink we see much less drip marks. Started very skeptic although. But actually I am happy with it. Also was a bit of a challenge for me as the inflow water pipe is very short and disappears to the wall. Also it’s plastic and I had to wrap around the main water switch but still works. Really. I was thinking it will fail...didn’t...and works
