great camera should of bought one new 10 years ago, I chose an Olympus at the time, which is still a great lightweight option. Will enjoy using it

Great image quality, canon make the only lower end digital cameras I have ever known to render the colour purple accurately. The operating system is clean and intuitive, more so that any other digital camera I have used. So why have I given it a score of 1/5? because if you put in a brand new set of high power batteries fresh from the packet & switch it on the "low power" indicator will come on immediately & it will shut itself down after 3 shots. Sort of renders it rather worthless unless you have a whole pile of batteries you need to get rid of.
It may be an old model but the results are excellent for so compact a camera.
