I found it very heavy. Without the battery it weighs in at 7 pounds. That doesn't sound much but my corded multitool weighs 4.5 pounds. When you add the battery it will be difficult to use for long periods.

I was a bit dubious about it to start with but after using it for a couple of days I love it the power of it is very good. The only problem I have is the battery don't last long but I am using 3 amp batterys so I will try a 5 amp battery and see how it goes. But overall I am quite impressed with it

Initial receipt of the multi-tool was frustrating as I hadn't realised that Makita do two kinds of battery pack; of course the batteries I already own did not fit. Other slight disappointment was that the saw blades are Faithfull rather than Makita. The box is a bit big and clumsy for the tool but has a foam insert and it means there's plenty room for all the kit; I should be able to squeeze the hurriedly ordered battery charger in as well when I get organised. Have cut a couple of bits of mdf with it by now and it is nice and easy to use; really nice to get into the corners to take off a piece of upstand at the back of my kitchen worktop.

This is definitely one of those tools you can't imagine how you lived without. Super easy to use and if like me you have other Makita batteries a very affordable way to purchase is buying just the body.
