Bought these items to put across access to driveway in the hope that they will deter anyone else from stealing our parked and locked vehicles! They appear to be strong and well made and the padlocks also appear strong. Do wish that I could have had all 3 with same key to operate but minor point if they serve their purpose.

The post was delivered very quickly. It is very robust and the yellow paint is eye-catching. The ‘socket’ that the post locks into has two 1.5” tabs that extend outwards to prevent the post being lifted out of the ground. I felt they were a little inadequate so I added two extra long bolts for my own peace of mind. In all it took two bags of post-fix to secure the post into the ground. I bought an additional lock because I hadn’t read the description properly and didn’t realise the post came with a suitable lock...duh! Well pleased with this product and I highly recommend it.

The product is amazing value considering it is made of steel and it has been powder coated to prevent rust for many years. If you wipe a protectant on it, or even polish it, it will never rust, above ground at least. It works like this, there is a base in the ground with a square shaped hole in it. It has a hinged lid that is slightly above the ground. The lid has a hole in the middle. The post then goes in, you then lift the lid and the whole goes over a thick solid knob on the post. Put a padlock on to stop someone putting the lid down. A beautifully simple and effective product. The product is removable for when you need access to whatever it is that you are preventing people from getting in to. So it will not get in the way, i.e. can't run it over with your car or bike. The fitting is quite simple. You just need some sort of grinder to cut out a neat square into the concrete (works best in concrete as there is not a chance of some low life pulling it out to gain access.) You then put it in straight, and let the concrete set. This will be a solid and great defence. I use it in front of a garage door to prevent thieves trying to open the door while breaking in. Finally, if you spray underseal into the base unit, it will last forever! just drill a hole in the bottom of the base so that rainwater can soak away. Completely recommended product.Read full review
