The price available varies significantly from seller to seller, but eBay Tesco Outlet was by far the cheapest of many. Being hard of hearing I need to use the headphone socket but at the same time have the main speakers available for others too. Like many modern sets this is not friendly from this respect in that plugging in the headphone socket automatically disconnects the TV speakers. Old fashioned sets did not have this disadvantage, but just about all current makes do, for reasons which are completely beyond me. Another feature beyond me is the absence on this set of audio-out jacks, the presence of which would make simultaneous use of the headphone and main speakers so much easier. It proved possible to partially get around this by buying a scart-to-headphone adapter (less than £4)but there is a quirk with this too. This connection functions perfectly for the TV and DVD sound but for some reason the scart pins do not carry sound for the internet services (e.g. BBC or YouTube) To solve this you need fit a Digital to Analog Audio Converter (around £7). And then all is tickity boo - so long as your headphones have their own volume control. However, having jumped through these headphone hoops, it is an excellent TV and I am well pleased. All Smart TVs are a bit fiddly to set up, and using the remote to navigate the internet connections takes a bit of getting used to. For the money, I doubt if you could do better.Read full review
Really good TV for the price great picture. Only slight problem is that I bought it for wifi access but it doesn't let you download most apps only ones pre-set by Toshiba.
I have 2 Toshibas because they were cheaper and they are both the same - hopeless - unless you like standing around waiting for your TV to work. Do yourself a favour and get a better on. We have a Samsung which is super quick and better picture.
