This is such a fun, good-looking and versatile alarm clock, at an excellent price, too. It's quite big at 4'' across, but quite light. The display lights up whenever you push any of the buttons, and goes off after about 5 seconds to save battery power. It looks like there's two little speakers built in but in reality there's only one, and even at the quietest seeing is unnecessarily loud so I've put sellotape over the grille to quieten it down. There's lots of sounds to choose from, and cuckoo in the woods is my fave. The projected LEDs are a fun addition. Downsides. The six buttons are tiny, it's difficult to read what's written on them and difficult to shut the alarm off when you've been woken up. But it's hard to complain when it's cost all of a fiver, delivered. Recommended by me, that's for sure.Read full review

Bought as a Christmas stocking filler, the sounds are horrible and the alarm on the one I purchased will only play 1 of the preset sounds, and the worst one at that, which was not discovered until the new school term started by which time it was too late to exchange.

Good value and the children were thrilled with their clocks. The only negative comment would be that the dome that projects the starry sky effect is a little fragile and dented quite easily. Otherwise superb piece of equipment.

After receiving the first alarm clock which wouldnt work i emailed the supplier who responded quickly with instruction on how to repair once established it still wouldnt work they were very quick to send another one out, this one was good value of money and my daughter loves the stars and easy to read display!
