The two batteries on my APC BX1400Ui UPS died. Although these UPS batteries are not supposed to be replaced (you are supposed to just recycle the entire unit!!), it's actually easy to do (and there are lots of YouTube videos that explain how). I purchased two of the NP7-12L as replacements and they were less than one-third the price of the APC equivalent, and far less than the cost of replacing the entire unit. Be careful as there is also a NP7-12 variant of the Yuasa battery which has smaller connectors (4.8mm) and these are too small for the APC BX1400Ui connectors which are a 6.3mm connection. Also be aware that the original APC battery looks like it is a 12V, 9Ah battery whereas the Yuasa is 12V, 7A so you will get a slightly shorter run-time out of the UPS, but for me the cost saving more than makes up for this. As to longevity of the battery only time will tell, but assuming I can get three years I will be pleased. Read full review

I used this to replace battery in Jump starter, so for its worked OK, only draw back are the terminals which are little female spade terminals which I would say are quite fragile. the battery I replaced had good solid terminals which I could bolt cables to.

I bought this battery for my Home security alarm. This company has been in the business for a very long time and its reputed to have good product credentials. The one that was fitted before by the security installers did not last very long. It was cheap and had no makers name on the battery. I hope this rechargeable battery lives up to its reputation.

Wary of fake cheap batteries, I bought this "genuine" Yuasa, a name I know from buying motorcycle batteries în the past. Used in a child's electric motorcycle it has performed well. Runs and runs for ages with plenty of power. A little dearer than others out there but worth it so far.

I've been aked to write about this battery. What is there to say about a battery ? It gives out the most lovely volts, at least 12 of them, and it claims to have 7 amps for at least an hour It is truly a thing of great beauty and I couldn't resist buying a pair of them so they would have some company for each other. I hope they will be happy in their new home so far away from their country of birth.
