    Good value for price but some simple flaws

    These 8 bells are well enough in tune to be useful for music or for education. They seem good value for money. 2 design issues that make them less useful : the labels on the handles only give the numbers 1 to 8, not the note names, which is not useful for music education (and the numbers are in reverse order from the usual numbering of bells, which is not useful for bell education) The hard plastic clappers are mounted on springs, which requires a strong movement to make a sound, and then the sound is very piercing. They would be much better with hinged clappers made from softer plastic, to make a more gentle sound. Great price though! And a great idea... Would love to see bigger ones with deeper notes!
