I bought these as replacements for older ones and they are improved design. I didn't change bulb in old ones and one gave up a month ago. The only drawback is cable not long enough, needs to be another half metre longer. They provide a good nightlight as well.

It is very lightweight and the base, which is the fly trap, is sensitive and if touched, switches the light off. It hasn't yet attracted any flies but I live in hope!

After 24hours of continuous use hung from the ceiling lamp in the centre of the room the flies land on it, or circle round it, not a single insect has been caught it - it is completely useless

This only works if the room is quite dark and even then we watched various flies go right past it. We had it on constantly for 5 days and it collected a grand total of 1 fly. Our collie caught more than this! It is much too dull to be effective.

Not worth the money dont work im still getting tones flys witch i have to kill myself still with spray made up pointless and the wire way to short to place were u really need it so each place u place it the flys or ... misses it
