The XGODY 886 works very well. I needed a Sat Nav that could handle large vehicles and the 886 certainly does that. It allows not only vehicle dimensions to be input but also speed - very useful for ETAs. The negative points (they all have them) is that if you take it off route and attempt to drive under a low bridge, for instance, it will happily do that! It’s also not very intuitive to use, some of its useful features being difficult to find. Having said that, the positives are that so far (used for just over a year), if you allow it to plan a route it does avoid difficulties such as low bridges etc and I find it fast and clear to read the instructions. It has a well laid out map screen with the road you are currently on showing at the bottom and the next road to take at the top. I also love the feature of being able to put many waypoints in - I haven’t been able to exhaust it yet. I usually plan my route using various on-line maps and the force the Sat Nav to follow my routing and this works well for me. So to some up, excellent response, great mapping, good big screen size of 7” and ability to enter many waypoints and also ability to enter addresses in via Lat and Long, Town, Post Code or point on the map. It also has the ability to play photos, music etc and has many helpful apps like calculators etc.Read full review

I used this navigator for over a month. At the beginning it used to freeze frequently however this was sorted out by the help line who guided me to remove unwanted European maps. Now it freezes occasionally but when it does it becomes a major issue to stop my truck to get it rebooted. It has hgv maps for the uk and is extremely good value for money. It has saved me going down wrong roads on so many occasions. On the negative side, it has outdated hence unreliable camera database and it does not have live traffic updates. I use it in conjunction with my phone google maps (live traffic but no dedicated hgv maps) and I find this sufficient. I would warn about using the navigator on its own because of it occasional freezes requiring complete reboot whilst driving. In summary, I recommend this product if used with another device that has live google maps because it is very cheap. For the serious trucker, I think investing in an expensive navigator with life long map updates and live traffic is a better long term optionRead full review

Heard good things about this satnav, I agree this product dose just what it says on the tin, it delivers an excellent value for money, not quite on par with a good TomTom, but as good as Garmin in my opinion. Bad points, it did take little bit messing about to get it up and run right, due to GPS managing to switch it self off, which took a bit faffing in settings to sort, but was right as rain after that. £40 compared to £200 for the Garmin smart drive.
