I previously had a 2-in-1 cat carrier on wheels, but unfortunately, it's just not big enough for my large breed cat. This is the perfect solution. He can sit up fully even with the mesh cover in place, and there is plenty of room for him to lie down comfortably. Now for the spec: Being a four wheeler instead of three, it's much easier to manoeuvre, even up and down kerbs. The frame is strong and robust. The front wheels can be fixed in position, or can swivel. The padded handle is a good height. It's very easy to collapse, and even easier to put back up. The nylon fabric is decent quality, and the mesh seems to be pretty strong. The zips works smoothly. There are four zip openings - the main hooded one (which can be zipped open at either the top or bottom of the mesh section), a full height rear opening, and a smaller opening at the front. The hood can be folded back so it rests against the handle. There are two short tether straps inside, one on either side, which you can attach to a harness or collar. There is a thin padded mat in the bottom of the carrier section - I've just added a piece of vet bedding for extra comfort. The carry basket, which can be removed, is very useful for holding leads, treats, etc. The cup holder is great for holding your keys. An added bonus is that my cat loves to sleep in it. This pet stroller is fantastic value for money, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It will be invaluable when the dreaded vet appointments come around. I purchased the black one. I would have liked it in red, but that colour seems to excite my cat somewhat - he goes mad for red toys - so please bear this in mind before placing your order.Read full review

Very lightweight and easy to handle. However, if it were any flimsier, it wouldn't exist. Mine's already started to come apart after 5 uses of about 1/2 hour each. Has helped me out considerably with a postoperative dog weighing 3.7kgs during her convalescence period. I wouldn't be happier putting a large dog in it. It comes with a warning not to put a baby in it, yet a label on its side has a yellow warning sticker telling the user about ensuring the baby's safety. This gives inaccurate and unsafe messages to the user. The zips are very hard to do up because of the tight cut of the fabric which doesn't allow for any slack. The tyres are hollow, thin, lightweight, black plastic which won't last long. The front wheels are swivel. There is a red plastic lock on each side, but as you push it up to engage it, within a few paces it drops back down with gravity and the wheels become swivel again. The instructions are inadequate. The do not tell you which way up to attach the wheels, how to attach the drinks carrier, or where to attach the closure clip. The red clip to keep it in the closed position only lasted one closing, by which time it was bent too far open to work again. The little mattress inside is just a piece of lightweight, soft, floppy, white packing foam which my dog has kicked to the back of the cabin space within about 30 seconds. I've put a large place mat inside mine to keep it in place. The brand 'FoxHunter' is not mentioned on the item, which shows it is the identical item sold by other suppliers. (Actually, I wouldn't want the Fox Hunter logo on it, as I am anti-fox hunting.) Overall, worth the money to save your back from carrying your pet around, and to allow your convalescing pet some mental and sensory stimulation during recovery, but don't expect it to last very long.Read full review

It can seem to be flimsy, but it is actually quite sturdy. You have to attach the wheels, back axle and drinks shelf when you receive it, but this was all relatively straight-forward. I have used it on pavements, grass, rough ground and mud and have had no problems with it. It is easy to turn as the front wheels rotate. There is a cushion/pad in the base of the buggy, but you could always add another cushion if this wasn't enough. I have put a small throw in which helps to keep my dog warm if it is a bit chilly. If the dog lays down he can still see out of the mesh at the front or back of the buggy, and if it starts to rain you can pull the hood over to keep the dog dry. My dog doesn't have the mesh attached to the hood when we use it as he likes to keep an eye on what's going on! It is easy to collapse (2 levers to pull - one on each side and then push down) and it is easy to get in and out of the car boot. My dog either sits right at the back or right at the front and so far I have not had any issues with the buggy tipping; which I noticed somebody else had on another review. Very easy to keep clean with a damp cloth. The basket on the bottom is handy for his water bottle, another cover to keep him warm or anything else we may need on our walks. To date, both my dog and I are very happy with this buggy and I would recommend it as it is certainly worth the money and it has already paid for itself as it allows us to go further on walks, etc. My dog is a Jack Russell and he has plenty of room when sitting in the buggy.Read full review

This little buggy is amazing value for money. I use it a lot. My fox terrier is getting on a bit and can't walk too far. If I want to go further I simply take the buggy and he lets me know when he's had enough walking and wants a ride. It means I don't have to leave him behind when I go further afield. He must like it (and he's a dog that's not that easy to please!) because he gets very excited when he sees it coming out. It's big enough for him to lie down in. Lying down he can see where we're going through the mesh at the front. Other times he lies with his head resting on the sides. I bought a piece of foam pipe lagging from a hardware store and slotted it over the sides to make it more comfortable for him. Or he sits. The only fault I can find with the buggy is that the strap that's meant to clip to the dog's harness ring is too short to clip on to my dog's harness. But it's easy to make an adaptation. This buggy is great!Read full review
