Used this twice now and does exactly what it says on the tin. Good size fries to go in air fryer. Make tasty healthy fries. Basic plastic but seems tough enough for the job.

Its very hard to work the cutter even with small sized potatoes the strength needed to push down on the cutter takes alot. It would not cut thru sweet potatoes at all. Normal potatoes we managed after alot of pushing (strength). It makes lovely sized fries when the device will cut them for you. Maybe the blades arnt sharp enough. Looking on youtube videos slices through like butter. Although the reviews i saw on youtube had the same issue actually getting the device to cut through food stuffs.

+ * can be taken apart for cleaning * can cut 10 cm long fries as it is (as opposed to the pivoting chippers cutting curved fries that break if the fries are not short enough) * cuts 1 x 1 cm fries (this is on the thin side) * simple - * needs some force * no instructions (cf. title) * fries straight (higher risk of sticking together) Instructions: * stand the part with the grid on the chopping board * stand the potato on the grid with a tap on the top (it should not touch the sides when cut) * put on the presser part and push down. As the static friction of the potato is much higher than the friction in movement, a small karate chop with the fist is more useful than a steady push * empty the cut potatoes from the bottom part before the next one gets stuck

Product received. Waste of money. It does NOT cut through potatoes. My husband tried and he’s strong, and even when I put my full weight on the chipper, it still wouldn’t cut through potatoes. It’s the biggest waste of money. I’ve never made such a bad purchase.
