Works well, picked up a picture straight away indoors. Only used to watch DVD's when camping as the aerial was rubbish. Yeah does sound a bit tinney, but we plugged our Bluetooth speaker in the back using a double jack lead, now it sounds better than most TV's of that size. Would recommend.

As TV's go, this is at the cheaper end of things, so we weren't under any allusions with this product. It was for our narrowboat which runs on 12 volt electrics, making the choice very limited, but these Cello models are a popular choice for those with boats or caravans as they are one of the few that do run on 12 Volts. The build quality was ok for this price range, nothing special. The picture quality was. however, a bit of a disappointment, with the blacks doing that flat, grey thing and generally looking un-natural. Fiddling with the settings didn't seem to improve things. The sound quality was also poor, as it is on most small flat screen tv's, usually requiring the connection of an external speaker - we have a Bose sound link mini which provides amazing quality for its size, but unfortunately the headphone socket on the tv with which you connect such external devices just didn't work, producing a terrible electronic buzzing. this applied to anything plugged into it, not just the Bose. The remote didn't work properly either, slow to react (if at all), and the tv would turn itself back on after being put on standby after a short time, and turn things on without being asked (like the audio describe feature - we thought we were going insane!). The EPG was also lacking, not the best. Another thing was that the tv we received had a different spec to that advertised even though it definitely had the same model number, in that the stated power consumption was 17 watts and weight at 3.6 kg, but the one we got was 21.6 w and 4.2 kg. Also the layout of the rear connections was different to that shown in the instruction manual. No amount of queries as to why there were these discrepancies from the official Cello supplier bore fruit - they just wouldn't/couldn't answer them. Sent it back and bought a Finlux.Read full review

Not sure what people are moaning about, i received my tv and fitted it into my campervan. I had no issues with it, picture quality is good, sound was ok as you would expect from a cheap compact 12v tv. Overall very pleased with it.

After purchasing on of these 12 volt TVs I was excited to receive my order. However my excitement was soon short lived, apart from the very low poor sound being very tinny and an annoying clicking sound every so often, the picture dropped out on top angle viewing it became very dark and unwatchable. Over all the quality was just not there !

£170 didn't seem bad value for money however unless your viewing directly in front of the tv your unable to make out the picture. Modern spin with 10 yr old technology! My advise would be to put your £170 into a better quality set. My mistake. John
