....but I'm not sure what the cat thinks of it yet. It'll look nice with a couple of plants round and the tinkling water sound is lovely. To be fair it's only been up and running about half an hour so he's not had chance to get used to it yet, but I'll give it a good try because I like it and I'm hoping it'll discourage him from drinking out of muddy puddles as other reviewers have said. It was very easy to set up and worked straight away.

I bought this for our 8 month old kittens, and it was rejected totally. It spills too easily as well. They never used it, so I swapped with a friend who's cat does like the fountain. I went for the one with the daisy flower instead, and they love it. Good quality, but my kittens hated it.

This is an excellent find Previously my cat wouldn't drink out of water bowls preferring the pond or rain water outside or us turning the kitchen tap on for her. Wasn't sure how she would take to the fountain but she started using it from day one and uses all the levels. It is easy to take apart and clean

I asked on facebook which water fountain and out of 300 comments Cat Mate was rated 230 I have only had it 2wks my 5 cats and I love it very easy to put together and it looks very easy to clean it also looks expensive not cheap and I think the cable is a good length there is a very slight noise from the pump at first but then you get use to it and you don't really hear it I would definitely recommend the Cat Mate
