This is good for smaller jobs and single handed use as it is much lighter and shorter than full size reciprocating saws. There are two trigger switches, one on the handle and other on barrel making it possible to turn on with either hand if holding in both.

Reciprocating saw is ok for DIY projects, but when you want to use it at job, you will notice that it have not enough power to cut joists quick. It looks sturdy, well made and very compact. In my opinion it is good product, just not for daily use at job.

Arrived quickly and in original box with instructions and a saw blade. Works really well, way better than a cheaper ‘copy’ that I tried, as they say buy cheap buy twice… This cuts with ease, doesn’t get hot and overall I am really pleased with it.

All my power tools are Makita 18volt powered by 3AH batteries. I thought I would add a reciprocating saw to my collection for cutting access holes in 6mm OSB, easier than using the jigsaw l thought, but it struggles even doing this, soon starting to smell hot, very disappointed with this made in China tool.
