Well put together - has a good solid feel about it, with attention to detail, for example - no sharp edges on the crumb tray which also has an easy to clean surface. Nice smooth action. It is a more expensive model, but the quality shows, and well worth the extra cost.

Sure, I've had some toasters o'er the years, the Kenwood semi-pro was probably one of the best, but the chrome began to tarnish and, I wanted a cream Dualit toaster to match my, um, cream Dualit dome kettle. I like the 'functionality' of this toaster, the way you can lift the toast up without switching it off so as to check the state of play. I like the bagel setting. I like the way the critter looks too. Erm, I'd never buy another make of toaster again .. THAT'S how much I like this toaster.

Excellent toaster, buy the dualit sandwich cage too. You can check the toast without cancelling the cooking. Lifts the toast high so no more struggling with knife to get small slices. Has a bagel function so you can toast one side only. Superb very happy, sometimes it's better to spend a bit more.

This toaster is expensive but well worth the extra money. I chose the cream colour which is a nice warm cream so fits in with any colour scheme. But I don't hold looks over practicability. The toaster has a timer control with definite 'clicks' so you know exactly where you are with your choice. Both sides of both pieces of bread turn out very evenly toasted - the main point of a toaster - and you have the added bonus on a crumb catcher. This one replaces the one I had for 12 years - speaks for itself!
