large drum, performs well, quiet on the washing side but can be a little noisy when spinning but not that bad, other people complaning about the noise they should pay more and get the ultima model, my old hot point lasted over 10 years and was still working whan apgraded so not sure if this is as good as previous models, but all in all I would recommend this at its price and give it 5 STARS
