This replaced an older Arrow stapler that fell apart. This one is a bit more hefty so I expect it to last a long time. I like the fact that it came with a soft case; I can carry a pouch of staples/nails with the unit. The drive mechanism is different and seems to drive brads and staples well, also it apparently continues to draw current when it plugged in whether in use or not as I noticed the stapler stayed warm just laying on the bench.

Well, it's a great statuette of a functional stapler. There are a huge number of electric and manual "wide crown" staplers that do not work. They basically have some problem that keeps the staples from embedding more than about 1/4" in soft wood - in other words, not at all. SHAME - but then, that explains the low prices on these. S ELLERS aren't checking with staples - plug em in - they sound fine! Built like a Mercedes. But add your T50 staples and bummer. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX - you'll be a youtube hero! Basically if you really need a power stapler -- you have to buy an air tool like from HF (Chicago Pneumatic.)

Has a design flaw. mechanism get stuck , requires resetting repeatedly. Bought 3 is far, all advertised to be "BRAND NEE", and turns out to be refurbished. the meaning is vague at best. mostly means but was repaired.

This stapler is a good unit, comfortable to hold and has the power to drive the staple home.

I have a pneumatic brad/staple gun and needed a brad/stapler I could use in my California "attic." No practical way to use air hose, compressor and arthritis. This Arrow 6in. electric fastener works almost as well as my air fastener and is much easier to use in tight spaces.
