I was somewhat reticent as to how effective these would be, especially for the price. I had some 3mm tool steel (plane iron) to cut, the usual dremel cut-off discs disappeared into a cloud of dust barely making a mark. I was very impressed with these wheels; I was able to completed the cuts using just one of the ten wheels supplied, without the expected horrid smell and dust. They may be knocked-out in the Far East, and lack the refinements of a branded product, but there is no doubt they cut well in very hard materials.

These were a “just in case” purchase which I ended up using on a roller bearing outer race which was very tight. The pack consists of 10 discs and I went through 7 of them to get through the race in two cuts. All in all pleased I had them and for the price they were ok. They would be fine on aluminium and plastic tubing

Only time will tell, but these cutting discs look good quality and run true. Ideal for my needs, just make sure you have a fast die grinder to use them with, as slower speeds are ineffective.
