The charger is excellent and it would get 5* were it not for the batteries, which are failing to hold the charge for my doorbell. I'd expect these to last for weeks after a 24hr charge but only last a couple of days. This seems to be a problem with this size battery as I have tried various makes. I have seen similar reviews for the battery.

So I don't ever leave reviews but these are awful. if you peel off the plastic coating it reviles counterfeit unbranded batteries. The grammar and spelling on batteries are the first sign that these aren't good. If you put the batteries in to the charger the wrong way the metal on the charger glows red hot and starts smoking in seconds. The batteries also last no time at all; fully charged they will last me 5 hours? This kit seems homemade. STAY CLEAR.

Right first off the batteries are really good had no trouble with them, the trouble I have is with the charger it’s cheaply made and looks like a fire hazard to me... buzzes really loud at time when on charger. I have now stopped using the charger and now charger these batteries via the device I’m using then in... but like I stated batteries are brilliant it’s just the charger...

Bought to charge batteries for a very high powered torch and fortunately it did just that! I haven't used the batteries that came with the charger but did charge them up - they took several hours. I don't know how long the charge will last as the torch isn't used much during the lighter days. The price compared favourably to other chargers.

These batteries are totally useless, fully charged they only last for one day before going completely flat. This is the worst item I have ever purchased. I purchased these to go into a video doorbell, once installed they only lasted for one day and the bell wasn’t even used. Absolute rubbish.
