Very easy to use and no interference with my bilateral hearing aids. Great the way you can pass the contacts in the phone book onto additional phones, so you only have to add all the names and numbers onto one of the phones. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the ring is very quiet for me ( and even my husband, who has good hearing! ) it certainly isn't as loud as the freestyle 610, which we had before. I am surprised about this, as the phones are meant to be suitable for hearing aid users. Otherwise, we are very pleased with them, and find the answer phone function a nice little extra.
I searched in particular for this model of handset to replace an old one with a fault. In my opinion this is the best DECT handset made by anybody. I don't know who the actual manufacturer is for BT, they got it right. BIG BUTTONS and a LARGE CHARACTER display for old gits like me. I have been involved in the design of phones Mobile phones, Rabbit phones & DECT phones for many years for Sony, Philips, Ericsson, Sagem & Lucent & STC ... So I've been around a bit.
I needed to replace our existing telephone system (telephone,fax machine & answer phone) which had given many years of good service but was starting to become unreliable. I needed a system that had an answer phone, address book and could handle multiple extensions. Ideally a wireless system to give me greater flexibility with movement of the extensions. Having carried out extensive research and visting a number of telephone outlet centers to actualy see and hold the different products I settled on the BT Freestyle 750. I pruchased a 3 handset system on e-bay and then added a further handset as a seperate purchase. The installation/user instructions were downloade3d from the BT web site and were very informative and easy to follow, thye whole installation took me about one hour. The system has been installed for about a month now and I have had no problems at all. The answerphone messages are very clear as is the voice through the handset. The handset fits easily in the hand and has good sized buttons that are positive in their action. I have used one of the extension handsets when down the garden (80 mtrs from back door) and ther reception was very clear. We have 4 handsets in use and the system is capable of going to 5 handsets, the additional units were very easy to add to the system. Overall, I am very, very pleased with the product and would recommend it to any of my family or friends who needed to upgrade their telephone system.Read full review
This is a great phone. Don't like the preprogrammed numbers,(0 & 1)which I cannot use. I am not a BT customer so would not be phoning them anyway. I like the speed dial aspect of the phone. Speaker phone very handy when I am busy doing other things. My friend has bought the same phone just recently.
up to now working very well. very easy phone for someone used to technology. older ones may still wish it did not have so many buttons and configurations to do. once set up works a treat, except the volume trick buttons on the side of the phones, ppl may press them by mistake. good overall !
