Excellent at the time of purchase, technology moves on very quickly. Upgraded from a 4400+ (939 SKT), much improved performance (No surprise there!). It does the job. Games and applications run well. Had to update my motherboard to a AM2 SKT and Flash BIOS to recognise chip. Intel are better, but I picked up a AM2 motherboard for next to nothing, so I went in this direction. It is a good, affordable chip.
i upgraded from a 2.2ghz to this 3.0ghz, brilliant upgrade runs much smoother and faster...........................................................................................................
