This is a great little shampooer, especially for the price! I used it for many little spotted areas before I moved from my apartment. My landlord charged me less because he said the carpet was in great shape! It always works great for me. I am now using it in my car. I use the Bissell rug shampoo and spot and stain solutions so I know it's safe for my rugs. Use as directed! It deep cleans as well. I feel so much better afterwards that my stuff is clean and the cost is so much less that hiring out. Terrific little machine for smaller jobs. It's lightweight, also. I am 66 so I don't want to be carrying around something too heavy. I won't ever part with it. It stores well in the original box so I only have to pull it out when I need it. I love it!
