Don't know why I left it so long to buy it,got the 305mm mitre saw but is too big to carry about for the odd job. Been cutting 4x2 all day on one 5ah battery then skirting and architrave at the end of the day . Nice and light and easy to use love it .

Lovely saw, really light to carry, much quieter than my old dewalt 240v mitre saw. Hardly any dust leakage from the supplied dust bag. Dozens & dozens of cuts of 3”x2” in one shift from a 4ah battery, stil 2/3 power bars remain. Love it, well impressed! Retailer, DVS, was spot on. Robustly constructed yet light enough to be easily portable, the saw is quick and simple to set up and use. Perhaps most importantly , the angle and distance markings are accurate enough for both professional and DIY work. Not the cheapest on the market but definitely a good investment.

Yes it is! I’m a new build site Joiner and I’ve got larger mitre saws but when it comes to carrying tools across sites and to the top of three storey town houses my other saws where a pain where as this is a dream! Soo light weight easy to carry and more than capable. I was concerned with the max depth cut being listed as 50mm as I do a lot of 1st fix studding using 63x38mm cls which while yes it would cut through with the timber flat, I’m use to cutting 5 or 6 timbers at a time with my larger saws so was really happy to find it will actually cut 6 cls at a time by using an off cut of ply screwed to the fence to bring the timer off slightly and increasing the cut capacity. It’s got to the point where I leave my other saws at home and only use this one now it’s that good. Put a flexvolt battery in it and it becomes a monster! Tho the 18v 4ah battery’s will also last really well, I get through two of those for a full day studding or one 6ah flexvolt.Read full review
