Pros: -It looks nice. -Seems sturdy and reliable. -Grinds the coffee quickly Cons: -It's loud! To be fair, what coffee grinder isn't? -It has "16 settings", Who really needs 16? -Even at "Course" setting, it still spits out lots of very fine dust. Not good for a french press user. -Hard to clean. Nearly impossible to clean it without completely disassembling and voiding the warranty. -spills with normal use. When pulling the ground coffee container out, it drops bits of fine ground coffee all over itself.

I bought this grinder with knowing only one fact prior to purchase - that I wanted a burr grinder. Everything else I learned about the grinder came from reading the side of the box in the pictures. It is very easy to use, the timer works well to give you the exact amount of coffee you want.

This, Capresso model #591, is unfortunately, the worst grinder I have owned. It is incredibly loud, only grinds fine no matter where you set it, has terrible static build up that the tapping the back suggestion in the manual has no effect, it's square shape makes it impossible to pour into my round (aren't they all?) press..especially since the grind is like powder.
