I think this is a great bit of kit because as an Asthma sufferer it saves me choking on fly spray fumes and I don't have to have those sticky fly papers hanging all over the place, there's also a little fun and satisfaction in knocking down those nasty flies. In the form of a tennis racquet it is easy to use, very light weight and effective in combating pests that can carry germs etc; The cost of this 'bug bat' is around £5 and using re-chargeable batteries as I do it is very economical.

I've found that it doesn't always kill the fly, sometimes it just stuns it for a little while but for the price it's an okay product. Also, as I'm short it helps me reach bugs up high :)

This product never really worked very well. You would get the fly and see the spark and they would just fly off again so you end up using it as a fly seat which obviously just made it come apart. Pretty rubbish!

Simple circuit design, only 1 semiconductor to create a pulse plus a tiny transformer to increase voltage. Generates a very weak voltage pulse, it is possibly the weakest on the market. Not practical, but perhaps not the sellers fault. It does not perform its job well at all.
