This is a very useful tool for cutting off dowels etc flush with the surface of the wood. It would be a bit better with a quality Japanese blade but for the price you can't have everything.

Quality of this product from Stanley is poor . It’s sharpness of of the packet is far wide of the mark. My friend hand a similar product from a rival manufacturer which not spots of this it is razor sharp and fold away when not being used. Iwill certainly think of this company when by products in the future

A rather thin bladed little saw. Ideal for cutting dowels, veneers, plugs and other little jobs requiring a delicate touch. It will not stand up to too much pressure however but a useful addition to your workshop..

I haven't used it yet, but, from looking at it seems well made apart from some of the very fine teeth are bent over at the tips. Whether this would make much difference in use only time will tell. The handle seems well constructed.

I use this saw for parting off small parts when I am woodturning, it's very sharp and can make precise small cuts.
