I think it is the best film on the Life of Jesus ever made. It takes the stories of the Gospels and introduces them into situations that are not exactly when the Bible said they happened but into situations which exactly bring out their full meaning, as for example the story of the prodigal son is told by Jesus in this film at the home of Matthew,(which probably was not the case originally), yet that causes Peter to confess that he is like the older brother of the parable. (Very, very good). Also Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus are shown, while Jesus is being crucified, as saying things which bring out the meaning of the Cross (again, very good) The price of the video is now is very very cheap. Thank you for that! The delivery was very very quick. Thank you for that too!

Value for money which tells the history of the life of christ.Acting is superb by all the cast. No faults to be found. Not seen a better actor than Robert Powell as christ since the series was first aired on tv in the 1980s.

A true reproduction of the much loved tv series of the late 70s. Sticks closely to the Gospels and the acting, particularly of Robert Powell, is of a high standard. A good way to introduce the story of Jesus to the uninitiated.

This film is amazing, its inspiring and i was not bored in any way. The words spoken by Jesus, John the baptist and the apostles are powerful. The film clearly reflects the new testament which i found to be most interesting. yes, obviously there are scenes that reflect the old testament because this film is from birth to the crucifixion. The reason why its parental guidance is because of the crucifixion scene as well as one disturbing scene when soldiers were ordered to kill babies. The film has part 1,2, disc 1 and part 3,4 disc 2. Each part is around 1 hour. Altogether it is 374 mins so its really detailed and not just a 2 hour film. 2 hours would not be enough to describe the birth and crucifixion.
