This light was purchased to replace a similar but failed light in our motorhome. Fitting was a doddle as it is pre-wired. I just cut the small plug off the wiring, stripped back the + and - and wired to the 12v system from the failed light. A touch on the on/off switch and, hey ho a lovely bright light. Well happy thank you.

The listing doesn't mention that the lead has a tiny circuit-board type plug on the end which means, if you don't have a suitable socket (and it's almost certain that you won't), you have to cut it off to connect the lamp to 12V. Once you've done that, of course, it means you've invalidated the warranty. You can't even test the thing to see if it works.
