The TV is great and overall the colours are accurate and vibrant however there's a region in the middle of the screen where the red pixels are significantly dimmer. This seems to be a common occurrence with older (and to a lesser extent newer) OLED TVs and while quite noticeable on solid yellow and orange colours, it's quite less viable during normal use. All and all I'm happy with it but mostly because I paid just 1/8 of the original price.

I love the TV. Many good features, many I haven't used yet. Exceptional picture quality. Only snag I have discovered, is the headphones when used, do not cut out the TV speakers. For many people it makes them pointless. Delivery and service has been excellent, and I have registered the guarantee.

This the second OLED TV I've purchased, the first being the 55EG920V which had to be returned, and I'd say this provides considerable improvements to the former model. Far less artefacts and colour rendition seems noticeably more accurate with much reduced screen tint (not sure if there's a connection). I wouldn't recommend out of the box settings and found a lot of experimentation is required to obtain the best image. The set remembers profiles for just about every possible viewing combination so it can take a while to get everything just right. As every reviewer will tell you the black levels are simply mesmerizing and especially so when dark scenes are combined with point light sources (such as a candle or lantern). I've yet to experience Dolby Vision but have found HDR (High Dynamic Range) emulation mode works very well. This is best restricted to films and works very well, for example, with the NOW app (the TV remembers the settings which is another bonus). It isn't perfect, as it's having to guess the requirements for each scene, but broadly accentuates the lighting in dark or bright scenes whilst adding a greater colour range. As I understand it, as a 2016 model, this is the last to include 3D, and I can only describe watching 3D material (I wouldn't bother too much with emulation mode) as utterly jaw dropping. All previous Cinema 3D (passive) sets are known to be easy on the eyes but with 4K, up-scaling, perfect blacks and a bright image then viewing seems even more relaxed and it's really easy to forget you're wearing glasses at all! 3D may be on the decline (?) so it's good to see that LG have included a specialist channel app (you'll need to search for it). A lot is mentioned about the curved screen but to me it looks stunning and in a corner like position is simply perfect. Probably not good for wall-mounting but then remember this is generally a bad idea for a 3D TV anyway which is best viewed at eye height. These TV's aren't cheap but I've no regrets over buying this one!Read full review

Best picture I've seen on any TV, stunning. The contrast is amazing and the colours are so clean and clear. Plus this is a 3D model and the 3D is as good as any cinema.
