Got these as replacement for worn out older JVC foldable headphones the ones you used with walkmans!! I must admit i am impressed with the build quality and the sound range good highs and fair bass i did not want the boom box type as i need them for clarity more than bass. they do give a good bass range but not to the detrament of the highs all in all a good set of headphones for the pc or ipod etc at a very good price from a quality maker.
