Just fitted my repair clip I am so impressed with how well it fits! It has saved throwing away a perfectly good bin-spotted this on eBay and thought I would give it a try-really glad I did Thank you for an excellent product!!

It works well and is definitely cheaper than a £34 replacement bin-lid. However, you need to either super glue or super tape this on for a more permanent fix otherwise it may fall off after about a week. The 'snap-on' grip needs to be slightly more tighter methinks.

I fitted this item and it was such a tight fit I didn't see the need to glue it, the bottom broke off within 1 week, however luckily we found the pin part and glued it to the bin lid, it has been working fine since, clearly my fault for not following instructions and not using glue when I first fit it. In terms of value, £6.50 seems a bit high, however it's much better than parting with £20-£30 for a new bin lid, so maybe not so bad on value. What would be better perhaps would be two in one packet, as I'm not sure how long they are expected to last, but I'm expecting to need another one at some point.

Pricey for a small bit of plastic but it does the trick. Much better than paying for a new bin lid which is also a massive waste of materials (bad for the environment). If you file of the old one with a large file it will lock into place nicely without the need for glue.

After rubbing down the broken off striker with sandpaper to flatten edge on my old Brabantia bin, I slid this attachment onto the lip..... job done. Perfect fit. Better than new. :-)
