Perfectly adequate and functional and much cheaper than high-branded eqivalent goods. The density of the plastic is a little lighter - but could be very much worse and the speed of rotation is not particularly fast but, it does the job without any burning due to higher revolutions. The only real negative is in the recharging - I don't think there is a 'cut-out' included in the construction and so it continues to actively charge while plugged-in. The first-time I left it overnight will be the last as, the handle was 'red'-hot, leaving me with the concern that it Could explode or catch fire so, Only charge it on a hard surface and when you can overview - just to be on the safe-side. If you can find-it at a budget-price, as I did, it's worth speculating.

This item looks great and i was looking forward to getting to work with it. However, even fully charged, it takes ages to do the job. Would be great for general daily use, but if its something that is heavy duty that you are looking for, this is not the thing. I would recommend to someone who dosent really suffer from thick, dry skin.

Initially worked great but after a few uses it just got slower & slower. New batteries made no difference even Duracell batteries. Glad it only cost me £4.00 or less. When it was new it worked great. Based on this I bough a proper Sholl model & extremely happy I did.

I have the spin roller. The motor is not very strong so you can only use it with light pressure. However, it does work and what can you expect for that price. I wanted to try using a motorised item to remove hard skin etc. and was unwilling to pay over £30 for an experiment. This item has proved to me it works so I will continue using it until it packs up and will then replace it with the more expensive machines with stronger motors. I rate it a good value buy but you get what you pay for.

I have a problem with my feet, a neuropathy which has side effects. I have had to make several visits to a Podiatrist & the cost adds up. A recent bout of 'Trench Foot' I have had a build up of very dry skin which was knotted in places, this spin roller, doing a bit every few days has removed it, & I now moisturize my feet, I have really good skin on what was once not a place I cared to deal with. I have seen several pedicure tools on eBay, non so much of a bargain as this one. Keep your eye on charging, obviously do not use it as a grinder, it is effective in removal of build up of hard skin, heels, ball of foot, toes etc, do not do it all in one go, 'softly softly catch ye monkey!' & remember to moisturize your feet. I have had success with using this, by using twice a week, three / four days apart. Do not over use as you may be tempted to. Keep eye on charging! Good luck as I have had. Got an appointment with Podiatrist tomorrow, I can see & feel an improvement, I hope you will also.Read full review
