No leaks!
I have seen lots of reviews where there were complaints of leaks through the joints. Because of that, I decided to ditch the on / off water switch and screwed a Hozelock hose connector directly into the handle. To this, I fixed a 2 metre piece of hose with another hose connector at the far end. That worked perfectly. No leaks and I control the water flow from the ordinary outside tap. Very pleased.

Looks great when you unpack it - but really badly made and sadly useless
When you unpack it it looks great and seems to be good quality. The problem is that that's the highlight, as when you start to use it you soon find out that although it seems well made it isn't. Within a few minutes of using it you'll soon find yourself getting soaking wet, with the hose fitting popping off and drenching you. You first think that you hadn't screwed it on properly and use a spanner to get it a little tighter, and then 2 minutes later it pops off and you're getting drenched again. The problem is that the 1/2" BSP fittings don't have matching threads and it just keeps popping off on it's own as soon as you use it, and after washing 1 or 2 windows you soon realise it's a lost cause and in the end use the hose to wet the window and use the brush and pole on their own. A real shame as it could be a great product if it was only made properly. As it is it's bloody useless and just a brush on a stick. A real shame, looks great, but that's it, not worth the money, look else where.Read full review

Just not robust enough.
Ok, so I bought the Silverline telescopic brush to wash down the outside of my residential caravan. The very first time I used it the handle bent and this with virtually no force being applied. It really is very weak. Appalling quality don't touch it with a bent brush handle!

A quality product at a bargain price
I needed an extending brush to clean my Luton style works van and this one works very well indeed, either connected to a hose or just dipping in a bucket. It makes short work of this 3 times a week chore.
