Purchased these speakers for my old desktop that my father uses. My desktop ran £800+ pro audio sound equipment which after 12 years finally gave up. I replaced with these £5 desktop speakers, any comparison? Don't be silly. But for £5 my father is over the moon. I used my desktop for pro audio recording years ago, since giving the desktop to my father around 8 years ago all he uses it for is to STILL play age of empires so he is just happy to finally have sound again. So to round up would I recommend? Of course I would, £5 well spent

On low volume they are ok but if you turn them up you get a lot of background noise and really bad humming and cracking sounds, I guess you get what you pay for, avoid them they are very poor and waste of money

Easy to use, cools the laptop down quickly with the option to have 1 - 4 or all 5 fans blowing also you dont loose a USB port as you have one on the cooling tray that you use so you have all of your USB ports. The slope adjustment is a very good idea keeps the screen at optimal slope to cut out any reflection or glare, all round a very useful peice of kit for laptops

Quite good actually. Crisp sound, does the job as desktop speaker. I have been using it to listen to YouTube lectures and it's perfect for voice.
