If you're a fan of C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia book series then this movie is for you! Disney has done a great job in bringing the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe to life. This is a great movie to use in introducing kids 8+ to Jesus and why He died for us.

This film is a great adventure which anyone can enjoy. C.S Lewis' novel is brought to life in this well written film. The characters are four kids who wind up in an ancient world filled with war, witches and talking animals, most notably the Lion Aslan, voiced by Liam Neeson. Special mention goes to Tilda Swinton as the cold, ruthless witch who antagonises the heroes. At times it is reminiscent of the Lord of the Rings. Overall this is a good film to watch, full of action but not too violent for younger viewers.

Great film! True to the book, with plenty of action and some brilliant cast members. A little bit scary in places for younger children but once they’ve read the book (or had it read to them) they should be alright as they’ll know what’s coming. If you’re a fan of the books or just a fan of an action adventure story, either way I think you’ll love this film.
