Superb scales that weigh in true imperial as well as metric pounds, compact so store easily among your tackle, dead easy to zero when using weigh sling. This is the 2nd set I've purchased as I wore my first set out after several years service.

Can't see this lasting long, battery tray flap does exactly that, flapping off at the slightness contact. Never going to be water resistant, seems battery compartment is too small for battery, connector and wires. What's that saying buy cheap buy more than once

I will test these when I next go fishing which will not be until early next year. Have tried them with battery fitted and all seems ok. Nice blue backlight. Case is VERY small and cannot be fitted without a major struggle. Pity this lets the item down and should be improved. I have seen other reviews saying the same thing.

The case is a bit of a cop out. £6 extra for an elasticated case that is too tight to fit round the scales, not a very good design to keep the scales free from damage. The scales are ok and do there job with a good clear screen, but i'm a little worried about the battery case, this area isn't sealed so it can't be waterproof. Lets see how long they last before they get water damaged.
