I bought this to have ready when the one I received with my camera gets low. After reading that non-Nikon batteries are good for a short period of time and then failing; I choose the brand name one. These batteries do last for several hundred photos, and don't take more than a few hours to charge up. It does cost a little more, but if it lasts longer, it will be less expensive.

Bought 2 packs of these batteries ie 4 in total,have found that they last possibly the same time duration as the factory branded ones but at a greater reduced price,use them not only in the camera but also work well in my battery grip as well. Would i recommend them my reply would be yes,infact i am ordering some more for when i go on vacation later on in the year,will be away from any form of charging so doubling up on these.
