The ladder is sturdy and well made. Weight is about "average'. The way it folds down into a compact size for storage is a real bonus and it easily fits into a small hatchback for transportation. I'm not great about heights and so really appreciate the stabilising extension feet at the bottom which inspire confidence. For a little over £50 its hard to criticise. Note these comments refer to using the ladder in its step ladder inverted 'V' configuration.

Fine if you only want to use it for internal jobs or low level external jobs but I didn't feel very secure when I went higher. Definitely wouldn't use it to repair gutters. Not bad for the price but I expected better.

Seem a good quality set of ladders, I haven’t used them much but they easily reach our second floor windows and are easy to put up and take down. I am yet to use it as a platform and there seems to be quite a bit of flex in them so time will tell on that one as I’m no lightweight but they do the job I need them for which I’m happy with.

Hi, Please don't think I am being pedantic. I bought this product as an aid to refresh our home with new guttering, but really it's too heavy for one person to use, the heaviness turns it into being cumbersome, hence the title, most aluminium products today are very light to use, however, not so with this item, for people working in pairs, no problem, I would then give a high rating.
