Ideal for my requirements, easy to use; not all tools were as sharp as they could have been but didnt take long to sharpen ready for use. Recommend for the novice Carver.

Chisels arrived blunt, after a quick sharpen (using my own stone) they work OK but the ferrule rings are not fitted too well and 4 of the chisels are not fitted into handle straight which is going to cause problems soon, I think. Overall, you get what you pay for. As they were purchased for a specific task, I wasn't too bothered about uses long term..

Arrived promptly and was a nice size set better bargain than I was expecting. Great for novice starting out new carving techniques. Handles are probably the worst part if left outside probably won't last long, planning on carving my own some point as all part of the course.

I have some doubt about the quality of the steel used; it is possible to scratch it with a sharp blade, so I doubt if it has been (or can be) hardened. I have not yet used any of the chisels and will try to harden and temper one of them to see if the material is any better than mild steel, rather than a high carbon tool steel.

I bought them on a budget but not worth the buy, they feel cheap and look cheap. They arrived slightly rusty and mouldy, the metal grips just come off and some of the chisels have splits in the handles It would be nice as well if they were marked on each chisel as to which one is which,, and they are rather small as well. They look like children's toys.
