This is the second kettle of this type that I have purchased. The first lasted over 5.5 years but when it became a little bit unreliable, I decided to renew it - we seem to take for granted a kettle that boils instantly! The main downside is that it is noisy when it boils but I love the “stay warm” feature - I can come home, put the kettle on, potter around for up to 30 minutes, and the kettle is still boiling! It also has settings for water if you don’t need it to boil. I love this kettle which is why I replaced it!

Bought this kettle as have bought refurbished items before and they have always been excellent. This item states it’s faulty yet it was still sent to me. Cuts out, lid doesn’t pop up you have to burn your hand to lift it and no filter was supplied. Having the Agro to now send it back not happy.

Pleasantly surprised with this Bosch kettle. Like the keep hot feature and the beep at start and finish of cycle. Button on lid seemed to not open top but you just use two fingers spaced and wiggle it a bit so not an issue. A well designed and attractive kettle.

Bought this to replace an earlier Bosch version which died after 3 yrs. it certainly wasn’t cheap so I hope this will last at least that. It is very solidly built, which makes it heavy to lift onto the tall base even with only one cup full. Bosch have taken the electronics from the kettle to the base, don’t know why as I keep looking for the switch in the handle! Maybe because my last one died by leaking internally onto internal electrics. The variable temp is super useful - 90 c for instant coffee certainly avoids that burnt bitter taste you get when you make it at 100c. There’s a filter in the spout which is too fine to allow fast filling, which means it’s annoying to lift the lid each time to fill with water. It feels chunky, so let’s see if that means durable this time.
