I bought two of these to use with a sevylor inflatable kayak. I would say that the length is just about right for the boat (don't go shorter for an inflatable kayak). They are very light but feel strong and sturdy (as well as looking good). The wrapping on the paddle also means that they are easy to grip (i.e. they don't slip through your hands). I chose the orange paddles so that I could spot them easily should they go overboard - though that's not something I have had the chance to test that out yet. The three positions you can lock the paddles into allow you to feather the paddles or not depending on your preference. Overall, I'm very happy with these paddles.

I'm a novice so can't compare it to Β£200 paddles but its very light and the drip rings are effective. There's a tad more play in the locking mechanism than on my aluminium paddle but its no more than on other carbon fibre paddles I've looked at. Overall a good paddle for my level of use, easy to transport and handy to be able to feather.
