    We've had this machine in the family for atleast 30 years, passed to me by my late mother, the pedal packed up some 3 years ago, to my disappointment couldn't find replacement pedal etc, most upset,,, came across this part and had to be worth trying it as the machine holds sentimental value to me, bought the part and it literally took less than 5 minutes start to finish and bought tears to my eye's as the old machine came back to life, thank you thank you thank you

    Smoking foot pedal Singer

    My mother's old Singer sewing machine starting smoking from the foot pedal. Replace the old Capacitor with this new one - very easy just unsolder the 2 legs and solder in the new ones. Literally took less than 5mins - and now the machine works good as new.
