Although this MacBook is 5 years old it runs the latest MacOS Catalina fast and smooth. I’ve also connected it to my Samsung 27” 4K monitor and can confirm it outputs at 4K and runs fine at that resolution. Build quality is fantastic and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
