Good battery time remaining indicator, good depth adjustment. Takes several goes to go over your beard, but no worse than my previous shaver and makes less mess, as it does seem to collect the hair a bit, still a messy process. It does a good job. Bad point is that it needs to sit in the charger to charge and this needs to be plugged into a two pin shaver socket or adapter. A more modern one should be able to charge straight from a generic usb connector.

The trimming ability (the essence) of the product is good, however, it's impossible to reach some places (moustache near the nose or head above the ears), as it is quite bulky arround the cutter. But the worst part is the charger - IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CHARGE WITHOUT THE HUGE STAND - so, if you're thinking to get a trimmer suitable for trips - forget this one. It requires special stand, 3-pin charging setting, which is unbelievable in the days of all-in-one micro-USB charger era. Thirdly, changing the trimming length switches the divice off, which is also anoying.

Great product, easy and quick charge. Has variable trimming sizes that I find really good. Easy to clean though I use a cosmetic brush as the one that comes with the trimmer doesn't amount to much. RRP (£60) is on the high side though found it on eBay for half the price which made it great a great value product.

I have previously owned more expensive I stubble trimmers, which I dropped and tend to break easily. This is a good overall budget alternative. Does much the same as the premium models
