Well I have had a pure radio before, so I have an idea what it's like. I managed to work out how to use it without instructions as I went along and it was easy to pick up. It even had one or two more digital stations on, than previous models of radio I have had, eg Absolute radio 60's. Once you pick up reception it's good quality as well. So overall happy 😊 yes.

This is a neat little portable DAB radio. It uses the headphones as an aerial and because of that, it can receive a good signal even when inside a building. It is best to sit close to a window or under the roof to get the best reception. It has a simple intuitive interface. Unlike more recent models, this receiver cannot operate as an MP3 player. Also it does not have an integrated rechargeable battery - for DAB devices this can be an advantage - and is the reason I bought this model. Because it can use rechargeable AA batteries, it can give constant service over a whole working day. A set of 3 2000 mAh rechargeable will give 4 hours service, so two sets can get you to and from work.
